The Haven in Sarasota is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential services and support for children, teens, and adults with disabilities and their families. Established to enhance the quality of life for its clients, The Haven offers a range of programs, including residential services, vocational training, educational services, and day programs focused on skill development and community integration. With a commitment to fostering independence and empowering individuals, The Haven creates a nurturing environment where clients can thrive and achieve their personal goals. The Haven Community Center will be a dynamic all-purpose facility in the center of the campus designed to foster inclusion, learning, and community engagement. This large-scale building will house an auditorium, gymnasium, classrooms, kitchen, internet rooms, and much more—offering ample opportunities for socialization, personal growth, and community involvement. Not only does the building serve as a growth headquarters but also a safe place. The Community Center will be the Hurricane shelter on campus where all clients both on campus and off can come to weather the storm.
