Punta Gorda Modern

The owners wanted a modern home bordering a historic overlay district. We ventured to update the historic criteria with a modern era interpretation to maximize the design. The resulting 2,400 square foot, ‘elevated frame’ concept features a mid level entry volume plugged into a mandatory flood zone elevated residence. The frame is supported by a steel column feature to mimic a modern interpretation of a craftsman style column.
