Casa Encanto

"Create a new iconic home in Sarasota. It had to be spectacular! Show the City of Sarasota the elegance of what modernity can be". Those were the clients wishes when we designed this. He also came up with the name. "Enchanting my friends and family are the most important part of a house". And Casa Encanto surely creates that emotion. The two bedroom, 4,600 square foot home at its core is a showcase. From an architectural standpoint, several unique items and layout firsts; structurally - very complicated concrete work with cambered beams to fight creep of the large cantilevered elements; and appearance of custom finishes inside and out. Upon entry a glass elevator climbs three levels to transport and not obstruct the view through the house. The staircase floats as it also climbs and curls around the elevator. Every finish in the home is custom, backlit stones, exposed metals, recessed profiles, exquisite fixtures and appliances all layering together to entertain and enchant.
