The 2 story office building was originally built in 2003 and required complete renovation and expansion to accommodate growth and rejuvenation. Revised programming initiated the new configuration and required the 2 story lobby to be filled in at the second floor for expanding office space with first floor expansion providing additional storage and beverage services for guests. The new technology offered user friendly conferencing with versatile furniture reconfiguration from dining to lecturing to training all in the same room. The inviting and bright but durable new finishes create a modern atmosphere that has unique forms and functions for large gatherings or intimate meetings. The fixtures are now energy efficient and touchless for the public spaces which comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act for commercial spaces. New door hardware and soft close sliders allowed for a denser occupancy. The administrative office spaces have group video conferencing capabilities and a privacy room for new mother’s or employees that need to have a private phone call. This bright and futuristic space has views to exterior windows from all the workstations and offices with common collaboration spaces centrally located within the production rooms. Great care was given to provide acoustical sound damping finishes along with clear glass for visual transparency. Thusly you can see the exterior landscape and traffic along Fruitville Road but don’t hear it. The accessible exterior courtyards offer the ease of moving from the interior to exterior with privacy and convenience for enjoying the beautiful weather that Florida offers. This is truly a fully functional office and an entertaining space with the ability to train up to 60 people for future philanthropist or supporting community services.
